In all cases however the price will probably be high and you can certainly think in terms of paying $1,000 to $2,000 or more for this type of course.
Your next option might be to consider individual coaching with a local golf professional lasting possibly 1 or 2 hours every day, or perhaps just twice or three times a week. This option is certainly one which is well worth considering as an alternative to going to a golf school, however it is still going to be reasonably expensive, especially if you discover that you have to continue your regular lessons for any length of time.
So how about a less expensive alternative?
Well, an increasingly popular option nowadays is to learn the game by watching DVDs in the comfort of your own home and, before you laugh at this method, you might like to consider the range of DVDs presently being made by a lot of highly respected professional instructors and the millions of golfers who are choosing this particular type of tuition.
Not only do DVDs allow a golf professional to literally come into your home and take you through all aspects of the game you can imagine in great detail and give you step by step exercises to follow yourself so that you can master everything from how to improve your driving to how to hit the perfect draw shot, but the great beauty of working with DVDs is that it allows you to work at your own pace and replay every lesson to your heart's content to ensure that you pick up every detail.
But maybe best of all is the fact that your own personal library of instructional golf DVDs will not cost you a fortune.
If you can afford it, enrolling at a golf school or personal one to one instruction with your local golf professional will almost certainly produce quicker and better results than learning from a series of DVDs. Instructional DVDs do however run a very close second and you really cannot beat them as far as price is concerned.
